Jews, Christians and Muslims believe God exists.
In this context 'believing' means 'having an unshakable faith'.
The believers are monotheists. Agnostics are doubters, they do not know whether God exists or not.
Atheists also believe, namely, that the universe has no Almighty.
Were we people created or not?
Five options
No one can ignore that we humans exist. It means purely logically:
Option 1: either an intelligence created us;
Option 2: either we created ourselves;
Option 3: either we have always existed without beginning;
Option 4: either we have evolved from a primitive 'thing' randomly.
Option 5: either we have evolved from a primitive 'thing' under selection.
Other possibilities are not available.
option 3
There is not any evidence and no indication that we have eternal life. We are born and we die, our
only security. At the time of the dinosaurs there really were no people in spite of the film industry.
Nobody believes we always have existed. This option we can exclude.
option 2
We would have created ourselves. Easy, this is impossible.
If there was nobody, nobody could create us. Forget option 2.
Provisional summary
We still have
option 1: either an intelligence created us;
option 4: either we evolved from something primitive on the basis of chance;
option 5: either we evolved from something primitive under selection.
option 4
Nature always tends to the formation of chaos, never to spontaneous order. On the basis of purely
statistical considerations, the creation of humans and animals is extremely unlikely by chance.
The statisticians calculated withdrawal periods many times the by astronomers suspected age of the
universe. Especially the circuit processes that occur in a human body, such as the citric acid cycle,
makes coincidence creation so incredibly unlikely. Although the possibility of creation due to blind
chance is not perfectly zero, we should exclude this possibility.
option 5
We would have evolved from a primitive thing under selection. Here is the same argument as before.
Primitive beings themselves cannot construct more complicated organisms. The selection is also
created by chance. Nevertheless now the opportunity is slightly larger than when only chance plays
a role. It is still highly unlikely that we evolved from something primitive on the basis of
selection. Moreover, the question remains: who or what controls?
option 1
So the only option left for our existence is the creation, whether or not sudden. According to
strictly logic it was flatly proved that we were created. It cannot be shown more scientifically.
That intelligence, our creator we call God. He performed it. He is the best top scientist.
In the first five books of the Bible the G'd of Israel shows Himself very well.
About His personality:
He is completely reliable, always you can count on Him.
He is like a king who legislates executable commands which he maintains and
He gives predictable punishment in case of violation.
He does not change His commands because people do not obey. The commands are not fashion-.
sensitive. You will always know exactly what you can expect.
He gives motivation to comply with His commands:
a great reward of a good life here on earth (blessings) if you obey
and severe penalties (curses) if you take Him for a ride.
He is loving, He is like a father who loves his children.
He is strict, He may even be blazing with anger.
He is consistent and yet compassionate and even amazingly forgiving.
He supports the orphans and the widows.
He gives the stranger His love by giving him food and clothing.
About His metaphysical capabilities:
He is not bound by time and place.
He can perform unimaginable miracles
The latter properties are somewhat plausible by supposing that God is multidimensional.
The discussion is beyond the scope, because we are only three dimensional.
In biblical times God manifested Himself repeatedly to men in different ways. Once He spoke so far
loud to the community, that everyone was afraid to die due to the sound. That was shortly after the departure
from Egypt (Book of Exodus). Moses had conversations with God straightly. At that time, without any problem,
God was recognized as a practical reality. His appearances and performances at the people of Israel is
constantly passed from generation to generation.
In addition to the written testimonies in the Bible, there is also an extensive oral transmission of
knowledge unambiguously and reliably recognizes the existence of God, because that transmission of
knowledge took place with the largest degree of accuracy.
After the biblical period, God was a metaphysical reality for the believers. (See ↓.)
Atheists
Curiously enough Atheists believe also. Namely, they think the universe has no Almighty.
They do not have any rational proof of their right, nor is there a tradition
on which they can rely. Once somebody said: "Thank God I am an atheist."
What are metaphysical phenomena?
In and around the earth is a gravitational field. In no sense is it to perceive.
Also magnetic and electric fields are not straightly observable.
These three types of fields must be described as metaphysical phenomena.
Effects of metaphysical phenomena
However, no sane person doubts the existence of those fields,
because their effects have been observed. As a subject is released from certain height,
the gravitational field provides accelerated motion of the object down to Earth.
Looking at this movement It is known, that the metaphysical gravitational field exists.
By releasing an electrical charge in an electric field, an accelerated movement of that
charge is observable. So it is known, that the electric field really exists.
Similarly a released compass needle in a magnetic field betrays the reality of that field.
Ultraviolet radiation is metafysical, because with no sense I can perceive it. However I can
observe the effects of UV radiation. It makes blind when eyes are radiated too long. UV influences
a movie shot. To prevent the annoying blue-stain on the film an UV-filter is necessary. Ultraviolet
radiation makes the skin brown.
No man doubts the existence of UV radiation.
Some sections back God was declared te be metaphysical. The only way to prove that He exists
is to look at the observable effects that He caused by the same method we used for the physical
aspect of these three metaphysical fields and ultraviolet radiation.
Some effects the metaphysical God caused
He created heaven and earth. Whether he did in six days or in as many billion years is irrelevant.
He created everything and basically, that is what counts. That deserves respect anyway.
Since centuries, thanks to the creation, we enjoy one free day in a week!
He gave the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob a collection of precepts that guaranteed in
implementation a very high morale and a happy and safe life. The Israelites maintain the life rules
for at least three thousand years continuously even while they make a relatively small people spread
around the world (diaspora(Greek) or ĝalut (Hebrew)).
The complexity and the diversity of all life.
What happens when you die?
There is nothing after death? It is absolutely finished? Do you reincarnate?
Do you go to hell or
heaven or to any intermediate station purgatory? Do you arrive in a spirit world?
Will you be a ghost?
It is a fact that no one ever rose from the dead and also witnessed what was after death.
There are
no suitable witnesses.
When someone dies the only sensible obervations are the blowing out of the last breath,
the body with
the characteristics of the death, the document of death,
the legacy and the grief of those who loved the deceased and the
processing. Therefore, everything we 'know scientifically' about it is only a guess, fear or hope.
Is there anything after death?
One of the aspects of death is that the deceased lost access to all its biological functions,
particularly to his senses, sensory nerves that sends signals from the senses to the brains,
to his motor nerves which activate the muscles and so blood circulation and the brains.
The skeptic can only draw one conclusion:
the dead person can perceive or think no longer, and only the remains, any offspring and the memories about
the person remain. Furthermore, there is nothing. End of story.
Some scriptures that may provide clues about ghosts
In the Bible book of Genesis chapter 37: "33 And he recognized it, and said,
It is my son's garment; a wild beast has devoured him;
Joseph is certainly torn. 34 And Jacob rent his robe, and put sackcloth on his hips and
mourned for his son for a long time. 35 All his sons and all his daughters did their best
to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted and said: "No, I will mourn to my son
who descended into the realm of the dead." S Jacob wept for his son.
In the Bible book of Genesis chapter 42: "38 My son is not coming with you,
for his brother is dead and he is left alone. If a misfortune happens to him
on the way you will go, then due to your fault, you will bring me, being old and with grief,
down into the realm of the dead."
In the Bible book of Leviticus chapter 19: "31 You must not turn to those who
do call spirits and ghosts, do not consult them. By doing so, you would defile yourselves.
I am your God.”
In the Bible book of Leviticus chapter 20: "6 Anyone who turns to the spirits of the
dead or to ghosts to follow them adulterously, to run against such a person,
I will turn My face from him and and cut him off from among his people. ... .
In the Bible book of Leviticus chapter 20: "27 If there are men or women who exorcise
spirits or ghosts, then they must be killed by stoning them.
They can blame this on themselves."
In the Bible book of Deuteronomy, chapter 18: "10 There should be found nobody among you
who …, 11 nor anyone who consults spirits or who evokes the dead.”
These quotes are not a proof of the existence of a realm of the dead.
Only, it might be a clue or indication.
This expression may have been used as for example referring to the land or realm
of myths and for example the plant and animal kingdom.
The commandment about spirits suggests the existence of spirits, at least,
otherwise the commandment need not be established as a rule of life.
So you are supposed to leave ghosts alone. Spiritualism is forbidden by the Almighty.
Do ghosts exist?
In view of the foregoing, we should cautiously say yes.
spiritualists may be fooled by demons.
Reincarnation
The fact is, more than half of the world's population believes in a cycle of reincarnation.
The fact is, some people seem to have memories of a past life,
that they have experienced. Those facts are sometimes verifiable.
These things are strong indications that humans can reincarnate.
In the slightest, this does not demonstrate, that everyone will get a new life again.
The American rabbi Yonassan Gershom investigated this phenomenon following
the giving of psychological help to people, who had 'impossible memories'.
