The truth

The throw
Charles throws a ball at an angle. Across the street Fatima sees the ball describing a beautifully
curved trajectory. Charles himself does not see the same. First he sees the ball going up delayed
and then accelerated going down along the same straight line. Further he sees the ball become smaller
as a result of the increase of distance.
High in a flat looking down Samuel sees the ball moving in a straight line away from Charles. He sees
the ball move at a constant speed until the ball touches the ground.

When for some reason during a court case Charles, Fatima and Samuel all three give a statement about
their observations they come with three completely different stories as above!
One of them could be accused of being a liar. It is for the court to determine what really happened.
It is clear that the truth has at least three different faces here, depending on the position of the
observer.
This example shows that 'the truth' or if you prefer 'the reality' is not even clear in this
relatively simple scientific situation.

With this example in mind we will compare the Jewish, Islamic and Christian with the scientific
view of scientists. Then we try to merge them into a coherent pattern of thought and belief.
Concepts which everyone could accept. Probably that is a utopia.

Conflicting concepts
Who walks in a wood, he cannot perceive the form of the forest. Who lives in a Jewish community, he
can hardly see the spiritual boundaries of his world. This person can hardly conceive a Christian or
Islamic mindset. Christians and Muslims can hardly form an image of the other two religions by their
own rigid rules.

The scientist thinks significantly different than the believer and when the physicist, astronomer,
chemist or biologist is faithful nevertheless, he sometimes must believe two contradictory things.
What about creation described in Genesis and the big bang theory with evolution?

Incomprehensible
Why apply Christians the Ten Commandments in their creed, ten of the thirteen hundred written commands
Moses received while however they do not apply the Jewish dietary laws for example? It seems illogical.

Apostasy
In Judaism, Christianity and Islam many people lost their faith because of their faith was very
poorly developed in advance or because they have deliberately chosen for apostasy. The cause may
lie in the fundamental concepts which show some shortcomings perhaps. Maybe it should be sought in
complete misinterpretation of the originally intended concepts. Maybe even deception plays a role.
Something seems seriously wrong with the religious education and didactics. That is why we shall
precisely view the fundamental statements about Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
